We are looking to hire an experienced Commercial Construction Estimator to join our team of highly motivated professionals.

The Construction Estimator will be responsible for preparing estimates under tight time frames and handling multiple bids/proposals simultaneously. They will work closely with contractors and team members to estimate costs and potential risks and conclude whether we can complete a project within the time frame and the budget that the client wants. The job will include performing mathematical calculations and getting quotes from vendors to estimate the costs needed for labor and materials.

Responsibilities:

• Explore documentation in order to gain a deep understanding of the project requirements
• Visit sites, warehouses, and other venues to gather essential information
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with the key vendors
• Select, measure and track important metrics
• Prepare timely and reliable estimates

Qualifications:

• Previous working experience as a construction estimator for 7+ years
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications
• Familiarity with analyzing requirement data to develop material and cost estimates for large projects
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Exceptional time management skills
• Strong written communication and interpersonal skills
• Works well on a team
• Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or other qualification will be a plus

Full Job Description

We are looking to hire an experienced Commercial Carpenter to construct the framework of buildings and other structures according to construction plans. As a Commercial Carpenter you will construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures of plywood, metal studs, and drywall using carpenter's hand tools and power tools making sure to conform to local building codes.

To be successful as a Commercial Carpenter, you should be able to interpret blueprints and have sound knowledge of building codes and safety regulations. Ultimately, an exceptional Commercial Carpenter should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner.

• Metal framing
• Drywall/taping
• Install Frames & Doors
• Millwork installation
• Acoustical ceiling
• Studying specifications in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required
• Following established safety rules and regulations and maintaining a safe and clean environment

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 years of construction and carpentry experience
• Must have driver license and vehicle
• Toolbelt with necessary hand and power tools
• Solid work history and maintain a professional image
• Strong working knowledge of job site safety
• High standard of integrity and professionalism
• Self-starter, reliable, and accountable
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills
